Role summary
Join a creative studio known for delivering influential, design?forward hospitality experiences. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will guide concept development, shape design direction, and oversee the execution of sophisticated projects from early visioning through completion. Responsibilities • Lead the design team through all phases of project development—from concept sketches to final documentation. • Serve as a primary client-facing representative, communicating design intent and shepherding feedback into clear project direction. • Partner with project leadership to define programs, budgets, and early project strategies. • Oversee development of materials, finishes, details, and specifications that align with the project’s creative direction. • Coordinate FF&A budgets and schedules in collaboration with purchasing partners. • Mentor junior designers through coaching, task delegation, and performance development. • Support studio growth by contributing to proposals, interviews, and promotional initiatives. Skills and Experience • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited interior design or related program. • Registered Interior Designer or Architect. • 10+ years of experience in luxury hospitality or high-end F&B design. • Strong experience producing coordinated, technically sound construction documentation. • Deep knowledge of building codes, materiality, and building systems. • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project workflows. • Strong presentation and communication skills; cruise or maritime design experience is a plus.
