Key Responsibilities: • Preparing detailed technical drawings, schedules, and specifications for a broad range of sectors including residential and leisure. • Managing the interface between design models and construction documentation, ensuring BIM compliance and technical accuracy. • Assisting in the coordination of external consultants’ information and integrating it into the master architectural package. • Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure works are progressing in accordance with technical designs. • Providing mentorship to junior technicians and contributing to the firm’s internal technical knowledge base. • Actively participating in Friday training sessions and the internal Design Delivery Group. Skills & Experience: • Proven experience as an Architectural Technician or Technologist within the UK architectural or consultancy sector. • Strong technical ability with a solid background in creating robust construction details. • Proficiency in Revit or AutoCad is essential, with a strong understanding of BIM processes. • Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and industry standards. • A proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a "can-do" attitude. • Degree-qualified in Architectural Technology (or equivalent); MCIAT status or working towards Chartership is highly desirable.
