Role summary
We are seeking an Interior Designer with 5+ years of experience, including healthcare project exposure, to join our Washington, DC team. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful, wellness-driven environments while growing within a collaborative and forward-thinking practice. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Washington, DC. Role and Responsibilities • Contribute creative design concepts across schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases. • Coordinate drawings and support material research and selections. • Prepare client presentations and design documentation. • Ensure work aligns with firm standards, schedule, and budget. • Review drawings for accuracy and quality control. • Participate in design reviews, charrettes, and consultant coordination. • Support construction administration and field coordination as needed. • Maintain proactive communication within the project team. Experience and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline. • 5+ years of professional experience, including healthcare projects. • Advanced proficiency in Revit; experience with Rhino, Grasshopper, and visualization tools preferred. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. • Knowledge of building codes, life safety, and construction documentation. • LEED GA within 6 months of hire; additional Living Design accreditation preferred. • Actively pursuing ARE and engaged in AXP preferred. • Strong design, presentation, and organizational skills.
