We are seeking a strong midweight, all-round designer to join a small architectural studio working on a private residential project within a listed building. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a richly layered interior, far from a blank canvas, where the focus is on integrating heritage detailing, antiques, bespoke pieces, and carefully considered design interventions. This is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract , with the project expected to run for longer and potential for extension or a longer-term role. Key Responsibilities • Support the architect across all stages of the interior design and FF&E • Develop and present design concepts and presentations • Work on private residential interiors , ensuring sensitivity to heritage constraints • Specify and manage FF&E • Coordinate ordering and procurement • Oversee logistics and deliveries • Contribute to detailed design packages, bespoke joinery and integration of art and antiques • Produce spatial plans and technical drawings using Vectorworks • Collaborate closely with the client and wider team in-studio Skills and Experience • Strong midweight interior designer with solid residential experience • Proven ability to work on listed buildings or heritage projects • High level of attention to detail, able to work independently • Proficiency in Vectorworks essential • Strong presentation and organisational skills Benefits and Culture • Collaborative studio environment • Opportunity to work on a high-end, detail-rich private residential project • Laptop and necessary software provided • Potential for the role to evolve into a full-time position
