Midweight Interior Designer

We have a fantastic new contract role within a leading architectural and design practice with over 40 years of shaping influential and meaningful spaces. Key Responsibilities • Lead the development of innovative interior design concepts for workplace and commercial projects, aligning with client goals and project briefs. • Take ownership of technical delivery, creating detailed Revit models, technical drawings, schedules, and specifications to drive project success. • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to coordinate design development, ensuring seamless integration across disciplines. • Develop and deliver compelling visualisations, presentations, and graphic materials to communicate design intent effectively. • Support the project team through all phases of delivery, fostering proactive problem solving and maintaining high design standards. • Contribute to the refinement of interior strategies, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and technical accuracy. • Maintain an active role in supporting the studio’s ethos of creating innovative, sustainable, and user-focused interiors. Skills & Experience • Proven experience as a Midweight Interior Designer within a professional studio environment, with a portfolio emphasising workplace or commercial interiors. • Proficiency in Revit is essential, complemented by strong skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and hand sketching. • Solid understanding of technical detailing, building regulations, and project management processes. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging graphics and presentations. • Strong teamworking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. • Immediate availability and willingness to adapt to a 3-month contract schedule preferred.
