An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Architect to join a growing London-based practice with a strong reputation in residential and mixed-use development. This role offers the chance to take a leading position in the technical delivery of projects, with a particular focus on RIBA Stage 3 onwards. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in delivering well-considered, high-quality housing schemes across the UK, typically ranging from 100–300 units. This position also presents a clear pathway towards Associate level for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities • Lead the technical development and delivery of residential and mixed-use schemes, with a focus on RIBA Stage 4 design packages. • Take responsibility for the preparation and coordination of tender information and Gateway Two (HSE) submissions. • Collaborate closely with directors to ensure design intent is maintained through detailed design stages. • Manage projects from a technical perspective, ensuring coordination across all disciplines and compliance with UK regulations. • Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle. • Oversee and mentor internal project teams, supporting junior staff and ensuring high standards of output. • Maintain programme, quality, and delivery standards across multiple schemes. Skills & Experience • 5–10 years’ Post-Part III professional experience. • Strong background in UK residential project delivery, ideally across medium to large-scale schemes. • Proven technical expertise, particularly in detailed design and construction documentation. • Advanced proficiency in Revit, with daily use in practice. • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing client relationships. • Excellent communication and coordination skills, both internally and externally. • Solid understanding of UK planning policy, Building Regulations, and Gateway processes advantageous but not essential • Experience delivering residential schemes in the range of approximately 300 units.
