Lead with design integrity and join this international design studio celebrated for its refined approach to luxury hospitality. We’re looking for a Project Leader to join the Melbourne team, someone who thrives on collaboration, has an eye for detail, and can lead projects from concept to completion with precision. Reporting to the Project Director, this role will see you managing complex architectural schemes with a strong emphasis on interiors across all stages; coordinating design intent, technical delivery, and client communication, ensuring the design is realised and every detail aligns with the studio’s creative vision. Key Responsibilities • Lead projects from concept to completion, with a delivery focus, ensuring design integrity and quality delivery. • Responsible for defending the design; interrogate decision making, and protecting the integrity of the design • Maintain effective stakeholder engagement across all project teams and maintain strong relationships with potential and present clients. • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and documentation across all phases. • Manage project resources, risks, budgets and timelines to maintain profitability and efficiency. • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and suppliers to achieve seamless project delivery. • Prepare and lead client presentations, ensuring ideas are communicated clearly and persuasively. • Support and mentor designers within the project team, fostering a collaborative, learning-focused environment. Skills and Experience • Degree qualification in Architecture or Interior Architecture • Minimum 8 years’ experience working on high-end hotel, hospitality, commercial, or F&B interiors. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite. • Proven technical expertise, with strong technical documentation and coordination skills. • Exceptional communication and organisational abilities, with proven client-facing experience. • Solid understanding of project budgeting, contract administration, and delivery processes.
