This design driven practice in Melbourne's inner city is seeking a highly capable Architect to work primarily on high-end private residential and equestrian projects. This role will suit someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, takes initiative, and is motivated to continually improve how things are done. You will be responsible for taking projects from initial hand sketches through to full construction documentation, working closely with the Directors to ensure designs are resolved, buildable, and well-coordinated. his is an excellent opportunity to step into a role with real responsibility and influence. While you will initially join an established and well-resourced team as a contractor, this may lead to a longer term permanent role. Key Responsibilities • Develop complex documentation using Revit • Translate hand sketches and design concepts into fully resolved technical drawings • Liaise closely with the Directors • Work on complex residential and equestrian projects through all stages • Research and develop new technical solutions • Contribute to BIM processes and documentation standards Skills & Experience • Masters in Architecture • Strong technical experience ideally in private residential projects • Advanced proficiency in Revit • Technically curious – you ask the right questions and actively seek better solutions • Confident working on complex details and resolving construction challenges • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of your work • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Benefits & Culture • Join a supportive team that values initiative and ideas • Located in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs • Opportunity for career progression after an initial contract • A role with stability now and growth as the practice continues to expand
