Step into a hands-on leadership role within a design studio known for creating immersive, experience?driven hospitality and dining environments. As a Project Architect, you will help shape design intent from concept through completion while guiding the production of accurate, coordinated documentation. Working closely with a Project Manager and a talented interdisciplinary team, you’ll influence complex projects, strengthen client relationships, and ensure the seamless execution of design ideas in a collaborative, high-performing studio. Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate project teams, consultants, and internal resources to deliver complete and well?integrated construction documents. • Serve as a key client-facing project architect, providing updates, interpreting design intent, and supporting the Project Manager with communication and decision-making. • Develop and refine architectural plans, technical solutions, and design details that align with project goals and client expectations. • Ensure compliance with project standards, building codes, timelines, and budgets across all phases. • Provide technical guidance during meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, including interpretation of contract documents. • Support proposal development, marketing contributions, and cross?studio collaboration as needed. • Maintain required licensure, stay current with industry standards, and contribute to overall project and studio quality. Skills and Experience • Licensed/Registered Architect with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited architecture program. • 8+ years of experience, preferably with a focus on hospitality or food & beverage environments. • Strong ability to produce coordinated, high-quality drawing sets for complex architectural projects. • Solid understanding of building systems, construction methods, codes, and technical documentation. • Proficiency in the software platforms necessary for project delivery. • Demonstrated skill in team leadership, consultant coordination, and communication across disciplines. • Strong conceptual design abilities; experience with cruise ship or maritime design is a plus.
