A 15-person boutique architecture firm is seeking a Project Manager to work on retail and residential projects. This person will be responsible for all phases of design and construction of projects from beginning to completion, while performing a supervisory role in assigning and reviewing the work of other team members. This firm specializes in high-end retail and residential interior projects. This specific type of experience is not required but you should be excited about working on this type of projects.. Key responsibilities: • Review and develop construction documents. • Manage people on the team and their expectations. • Analyze and estimate project cost for labor, equipment and materials. • Monitor progress of all construction phases in compliance with building plans and deadlines. • Manage correspondence with clients, vendors, consultants, building departments, landlords, construction team and other personnel involved in projects. • Oversee drafting, review shop drawings and respond to RFI’s. Skills and experience: • A professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch/M. Arch). • Ability to handle multiple projects or one account with diligence and commitment. • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager in an architecture firm. • Experience drafting retail or commercial construction documents preferred. • Must possess strong time management and people management skills. • Ability to handle the pressure of tight deadlines. • Revit, ArchiCAD, Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus.
