This excellent opportunity is a key technical appointment within the architectural practice's London-based team. As a Technical Architect, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between high-level design concepts and robust, sustainable construction delivery. You will work across a diverse portfolio - including residential, commercial, and education sectors, ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence and delivery are maintained throughout the RIBA stages. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about the built environment and eager to provide technical leadership and mentorship within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities: • Leading the technical delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring design intent is maintained through to construction completion. • Reviewing and producing high-quality technical detailing and architectural packages across diverse sectors. • Providing technical support and mentorship to junior staff and architectural assistants, fostering a culture of continuous learning. • Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure site compliance. • Integrating with internal Design Delivery initiatives to drive innovation in sustainable solutions. • Contributing to the firm’s internal CPD programme by sharing expertise on UK Building Regulations and technical best practices. Skills & Experience: • ARB Registered Architect with significant post-qualification experience in a technical-led role. • Proven track record of delivering construction packages within the UK residential or education sectors. • Advanced proficiency in BIM software and a strong understanding of technical workflows. • Expert knowledge of UK Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and planning legislation. • A natural collaborator with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to various teams. • High attention to detail with a commitment to driving quality and consistency across multiple projects. Benefits: • Hybrid working arrangements for a healthy work-life balance. • Private Medical Insurance & Free Local Gym Membership. • Excellent CPD programme & Weekly Friday training sessions. • Workplace Pension (4% employer contribution) & Financial Advisory access. • Professional memberships and fees paid for qualified staff. • Enhanced Annual Leave to reward long service. • Cycle to Work scheme & Benefits Hub shopping rewards. • Regular staff socials, Annual Company Away Day, and Casual Fridays.
